 I am really happy that I found somewhere like you on the net. Praises my brothers. My name is Pantelis Hadjioannou and I am Greek student at the University of Wales, Swansea and I am Greek Orthodox. 

I was wondering if this summer after the 3rd of July till the end of August or more, I could make a volunteer work with the Orthodox church of Ethiopia at Ethiopia. The reasons I want to go to Ethiopia are: 1st) I want to see what is to be really poor. 2nd) I want to see the ancient land where Gihon river passing and where the first man has been found as I have heard. 3d) I want to learn more about Orthodoxy in Ethiopia. Differences and similarities between Greek Orthodoxy and Ethiopian Orthodoxy and meet Ethiopian people (famous for goodness). I am enlightened by our religion lately since I opened the Holy Bible. If u have any information please contact me. Father, Son, Holy Spirit shall be with u and u shall never forget the Trinity.

It's incredible to talk about that we built St. Gebriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo church in Seattle I mean you know I am proud of it, but when I saw this church it reminded me where I came from (the beautiful country Ethiopia in Gondar city).

I was very pleased to encounter this web site. Thank you for the wonderful you do to uplift the spirituality of us Ethiopians living in Diaspora. Personally, seeing something like this makes me feel close to motherland Ethiopia and remember where I am coming from. Once again, thank you very much. I also have one question for anybody who may be able to answer. A couple days ago I encountered Mormon Missionaries and I had a discussion with them about Ethiopian Orthodox Church (EOC) Mormon Church. During our discussion I tried to explain to them that my church (EOC) point of view is that according Lord's declaration there should not be any Later Day Prophet upon the face earth before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. But, they (Missionaries) challenged me by asking for the references in the Scriptures to proof them that my church's point of view is true. On my unfortunate, I could not show them those references, because I did not know where exactly they were in the Scriptures. Thus, I kindly ask you to help me find those references so that I can argue with them with substantials.
